My name is Bob Thompson, and I’ve been in the IT field for over 35 years in various roles from programmer/analyst, delivery and team management, to auditing. I’ve been a Microsoft Certified Trainer with New Horizons for over 4 years now, and have several other Microsoft certifications. I currently live in the Kansas City area, but have lived and traveled all over the world. Believe it or not, but I enjoy programming and spend some of my free time writing code for various projects that I’m involved with.

You may be wondering where the “Dr.” came from and why I use it. I went to chiropractic school for almost four years and after graduation, obtained my license to practice chiropractic in Kansas. I started two different chiropractic offices seeing patients in the Kansas City area. I went back to my programming roots after a period of time focusing on healthcare applications and projects. I still have my chiropractic license in Kansas but its kept in an inactive status.
